With booming demand for multi-batch, special-shaped and variable-data label orders, traditional die-cutting suffers from long tooling lead-time and tedious job change-over, failing to keep pace with modern label converters. The Vorey AuraCut A8 Digital Label Die-Cutter integrates die-cutting, slitting, lamination, matrix stripping, sheet cutting and rewinding in one single machine. It completes full post-press workflows without physical dies, enabling fast job switching and high-volume precision production.
Equipped with 8 sets of independently servo-controlled cutting heads. The head spacing can be auto-optimized by software, opening or closing automatically according to label layout to fit various label sizes. It comes standard with 9 slitting units, expandable up to 15 units maximum. Slitting width ranges 10-330 mm with slitting precision of ±0.1 mm.
Max cutting speed reaches 12 m/min. Standard maximum label length is 700 mm, while multi-segment cutting supports up to 6000 mm. Slitting speed can hit 70 m/min for high-volume slitting assignments. Servo-driven blade dropping is adopted; blade depth can be set via digital input plus vision-based calibration. Repeating cutting precision stays stable at 0.1 mm during long-time continuous production, delivering clean burr-free cuts without damaging liner backing paper.
Built-in CCD camera positioning & recognition system, positioning response time only 0.03 seconds. It can read registration marks, serial numbers and QR codes for automatic web tracking. After file import, cutting paths are auto-optimized; manual repeated alignment is eliminated. The machine can auto-switch cutting files for non-stop processing of serial-number and QR-code variable-data labels, drastically cutting setup labour hours.
